According to police, in April 2015 the Niagara Regional Police Sexual Assault Unit began an investigation of a Port Colborne male and as a result of the investigation 55 year old Port Colborne resident Robert Bruce Brown has been charged with Sexual Assault and Forcible Confinement.Brown and the female victim in this incident are known to each other.
Upon his arrest, Brown was in his possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine. He is further charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Brown is currently being held in custody pending a Bail Hearing on April 23, 2015 at the Robert S. K. Welch Court House in St. Catharines.
