On Thursday March 12, 2015 members of the Welland Street Crime Unit made four arrests in relation to the sale of drugs in the City of Port Colborne, Ontario.
As a result of these investigations police say they seized approximately $1,800.00 in suspected crystal methamphetamine (crystal meth), approximately $200 in suspected cocaine, $330.00 in Canadian currency, and 2 weapons.
Andrew Lavallee, a 24 year old resident of Port Colborne, Ontario, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Joseph Greville, a 26 year old resident of Port Colborne, Ontario is charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
Lisa Michalik (aka Christine Hogg), a 42 year old resident of Port Colborne, Ontario is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Jeremy McGilvery, a 28 year old resident of Port Colborne, Ontario is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by Crime under $5,000.00, Weapons Dangerous, and 2 counts of Breach of a Recognizance of Bail.
McGilvery is held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday March 13, 2015, while Michalik, Greville, and Lavallee were released on an Officer in Charge Promise to Appear and given a future court date.
