On Sunday March 8, 2015 at 4:30 pm, uniform officers attended a West St. Catharines Grocery store for a male acting suspiciously inside and the male was arrested after it was revealed that he had an outstanding arrest warrant from Waterloo Regional Police for Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference.
The Niagara Regional Police Sexual Assault Unit began an investigation as to what the male was doing inside the grocery store. During the subsequent investigation the male was observed on video surveillance grabbing unsuspecting females while they were shopping.
Police say 38 year old Tobias Bridger of St. Catharines was charged with one count of Sexual Assault. Bridger is being held in custody pending a Bail Hearing scheduled for March 9, 2015 at the Robert S K Welch Court House in St. Catharines.
