On Thursday, March 5, 2015 5 District Detectives executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant in Fort Erie.
As a result, police say a quantity of Cocaine, Hydromorphone pills, Fentanyl and a large quantity of Canadian currency were seized. Charged with a Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance, Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000 and Obstruct Peace Officer is thirty five year old, Philip Popering of Fort Erie.
Numerous items believed to be stolen have been seized and police are continuing with the investigation.
