On Monday February 23, 2015 at approximately 3:20 PM the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to 13 Chetwood Street, St. Catharines along with Paramedics and Fire officials and located the body of a female inside the home. The cause of death remains under investigation.
The investigation is in its very early stages. The investigation continues by members of the #1 District Criminal Investigation Branch and is being assisted by the office of the Coroner and the Homicide Unit. The identity and particulars of the deceased female are not being released at this time pending her identification and notification of next of kin.
An Autopsy will take place on Tuesday February 24th,2015 in Hamilton.
