On Tuesday January 20, 2015 a lone male was robbed by numerous people in a residential park in the west side of Welland, Ontario. The male, who was known to his assailants, suffered non life threatening injuries.
Police say as a result of an investigation by members of the Welland Street Crime Unit four people have been arrested and charged with Robbery, contrary to section 344(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Alexandra Garbutt, a 21 year old resident of Welland, Ontario, Britney Jarram, a 19 year old resident of Welland, Ontario, and Christopher Davis a 21 year old of Welland Ontario were charged and released on an Officer In Charge Promise to Appear while Rielly Binding, a 22 year old resident of Welland, Ontario was charged and held in custody pending a bail hearing on Wednesday January 28, 2015.
The investigation is continuing.
