Police say since September of 2014 members of the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit have been investigating two people for selling drugs from their Pelham Road residence.
On Thursday January 22nd, 2015 a search warrant was granted to enter and search the same residence. At approximately 6:15 pm the warrant was executed and four people were taken into custody. Police searched the residence and located cocaine and cash.
Charged with 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and 1 count of Possession of Proceeds of Crime are 43-year-old Glen Rice and 36-year-old Jamey Lynn McLauchlan. Both Rice and McLauchlan will be attending a bail hearing on January 23rd, 2015. The two other persons arrested have been released from custody unconditionally and will not face any criminal charges.
