According to police, on Sunday the 30th day of November, 2014, at approximately 9:16 P.M., members of the Niagara Regional Police Service as well as the Fort Erie Fire Department attended a working fire at a single residential home on Nigh Road in the town of Fort Erie.
Upon arrival, the residence was found to be fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported as the residence was unoccupied at the time of fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Damage is estimated at approximately $125,000.
Police and Fire personnel remain at the scene while an investigation takes place.
