According to police, on Friday November 21, 2014, at approximately 4:55 pm, Uniform Members of the Niagara Regional Police attended The Toy Trove, located at 2 St.Paul St W in the city of St.Catharines, in regards to a Robbery Call.
Police learned that the Robbery occurred at approximately 4:30 pm, and was committed by a lone male. The male selected a store item from a shelf, and walked toward the cash register. As the suspect approached the register, he pulled a can of bear spray out of his pocket, sprayed the substance throughout the store as he ran out the door. The store employees and customers were not injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0″ tall, in his late 30s to early 40s, with a goatee, thin face, and wearing dark clothing.
