On Wednesday November 5, 2014, at approximately 7:08 pm, Uniform Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service were dispatched to a Robbery that had just occurred at the Meridian Credit Union, located at 531 Lake St in the city of St.Catharines.
Upon Police arrival, Police say they discovered that a male and female were withdrawing money from the bank machine at the Credit Union, when an unknown male entered the bank machine area. After the couple withdrew money, the male pulled the money away from the couple, and ran out of the Credit Union after a brief struggle. The male then ran west, across Lakeport Rd.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’9″, thin build, wearing a dark jacket and a toque.

On Thursday November 6, 2014, Police attained video surveillance of the Robbery.
