Wednesday, November 05, 2014 at 3:45 a.m. members of the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to an alarm call at 6 Clark St, Welland. Upon arrival, police say they located a car on fire that had collided into the south facing front entrance of the business.
Welland Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire without incident.
There were no occupants in the car and police determined the car was stolen a short time earlier from a Barrick Rd address in Port Colborne. The car was completely destroyed and the business sustained approximately $7,000 damage. The car is described as a 2000 Silver 2-door Cavalier.
