Greg Godovitz, lead singer and bassist for hard rocking Canadian power trio Goddo once said “”If indeed it is lonely at the top, who cares…it’s lonely at the bottom, too.”
The quote sums up well the career of a band that certainly enjoyed the highs and lows of the rock world in the 70’s and 80’s and yet always embraced it with a sense of humour!
Although Goddo, formed in Scarborough in 1975 never enjoyed major success globally, they did bring some great music to the table throughout the years and their recent appearance at Springlicious in Niagara Falls this year did not disappoint.
